Nintendo

I have had almost every iteration of Nintendo along the way.  There have been exceptions - no Virtual Boy and not DS XL's, but I think just about everything else has been in this house.  Come to think of it, most of these systems are still here:

NES, Gameboy (do not currently have), Gameboy Color, Gameboy Advance, DS Lite, DSi, 3DS, Gamecube (dead, but we can play those games on the...), Wii, Super Nintendo, N64... yeah, I think that's it.  I got the NES for Christmas one year when I was younger, and have picked up most of the systems a year or two after release each time.  A lot of our old school gaming still happens on those systems, most of which have made their way upstairs to the kids' living room, or to their bedrooms on special, temporary occassion.

Nintendo often manages to pull off innovations with their consoles, but what really drives their brand is the software.  Even if a system like the Wii lacks the muscle of a PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360, titles such as Zelda, Mario, Kirby and Metroid help to keep sales strong and demand high.
